I am Kathy Stommel, woman of God, artist, therapist, singer, songwriter, mom, wife, friend, who wants to touch people with the power and love of God and creativity. I am a licensed counselor, ordained minister, worship leader, animal and nature lover, and truth seeker. One thing I have learned as a counselor, there are always two sides of a story and the truth. My hope is, that through the internet I can touch the world through the unique way in which God has created me. I am His masterpiece, and it is my purpose to be all that He has created me to be.

Why I Love What I Do
As an artist, I try and recreate the beauty I see. As a songwriter, I write from the depths of my heart, which brings healing to my soul. As a singer, I love experiencing sound resonate through my body as it carries the emotion of the story I’m telling. The sound reminds me who I am, a unique creation. I sense the power of creation as I permit myself to sing the songs I write. As a therapist, I am touched by the transformation of people’s worlds when they open up to receive what they need help with.
As a child of God, I get to decide every moment of every day to believe God’s Word and change my whole sense of self. I participate in God’s transforming love and mercy. As a wife, I get to learn how to love and be loved, fighting against old narratives that fear and crave connection. As a mom, I get to watch three amazing young men become powerful influences in the world and experience the depth and power of watching sons develop into great men of God.
